Cason Cusack

As Development Director, Cason focuses on pursuing new opportunities for Sullivan Development as well as working with stakeholders to identify, design, and construct projects that meet a community’s need for housing. In addition to identifying new projects, he works with Sullivan’s investor base to match projects that meet their investment goals.

Cason works on a variety of projects including workforce, market rate, and Hispanic Lifestyle Communities. He is most passionate about the underserved Hispanic community and their housing needs. During the financial crisis, Cason became acquainted with many small business entrepreneurs in the Hispanic community who were especially affected. He volunteered with a non-profit, MicroBusiness Mentors, to provide free one-on-one mentoring. Once a participant completed their business plan and “graduated” from the class, Cason worked with local partner banks to extend them a microloan to assist them in growing their business. He continues to teach pro bono entrepreneurship and finance classes to the Hispanic community in greater Indianapolis.

Prior to joining Sullivan Development, Cason was involved in various real estate functions at Raistone Ventures. He also served as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ to many ultra-high net worth clients at Oxford Financial Group. During his tenure at Oxford, Cason had wide exposure to, and experience with, many alternative asset types.

Cason earned his undergraduate degree in Global Studies and Business from Brigham Young University. Cason enjoys traveling with his wife and two children.
