Adam Vaal

Adam Vaal has led the financing to over $600 million in project costs and closed on over 3,000 units. Within Sullivan Development, Adam takes the lead on underwriting, financial modeling, investment committee, debt and equity raise, and investor meetings.

Previously, Adam worked for a national multifamily developer in the finance department and a national LIHTC syndicator in the underwriting department. Adam joined Sullivan Development full-time in 2025 after being a finance consultant for the company for two years. He loves being a part of a smaller, dedicated team and being more involved in the projects from start to finish and beyond.

Adam has a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in economics for the University of Southern Indiana and holds the Charted Financial Consultant designation (ChFC). He is from New Albany, IN and lives in Indianapolis, IN with his wife, daughter, dog and cat.
